PARTY AT SCALAWAGS!

Are we seriously celebrating our 16th birthday this year? It seems like just yesterday we decided to embark (pun intended) upon this Scalawags journey. And what a journey it has been. Our little pet boutique has survived a recession, a store relocation, and a pandemic (did not see that one coming). Of course, we could not have done it without the ongoing support of friends, family and YOU, the absolute best customers in the universe!

One of the most unexpected and fun benefits of running a small business in a tourist destination like Kennebunkport, Maine (aka Vacationland), is we attract visitors from all over the USA as well as our friends to the north in Canada and from faraway places like New Zealand, Europe and South America. Over the years we have met so many incredible pet families and have entertained dogs, cats, and on occasion, birds, pigs, goats and even a horse. We specialize in "this & thats for dogs & cats" but we never turn away a cute scalawag, no matter the species.
