• Active Ingredients:
  • Valerian - An herb often used for restlessness. Fast acting, it helps the body achieve a sense of calm by regulating nerves. It also encourages the brain to release a calming chemical, gamma aminobutyric acid. Great for easing stress and anxiousness without nasty side effects.
  • Chamomile - has long been used for relaxation (sleepy time tea, anyone?). It's notable for the effects it's shown to have on anxiety and stress. Encouraging the body to relax, chamomile for dogs has displayed a great track record for helping to reduce the symptoms of stress.
  • Thiamine - (AKA Vitamin B1) plays an important role in the body's metabolism. It helps with energy metabolism and helps to control hyperactivity. While dogs do naturally manufacture thiamine, some can occasionally be thiamine-deficient, which can increase stress levels.
  • L-Tryptophan - An amino acid known for its ability to encourage the release of serotonin and melatonin in the brain. Serotonin (often called the "feel-good" hormone) is the chemical associated with happiness and relaxation. Melatonin takes on the role of a "sleep hormone".
  • Passion Flower – Its effects are similar to valerian, given its ability to encourage the release of gamma aminobutyric acid in the brain, a compound that promotes a sense of calm.
